You can still be a partner in giving
The 2003 Partners in Giving campaign officially ended Nov. 28, but there is still time to give to the charities of your choice through this once-a-year workplace fund-raising effort. The campaign is a long way from its $2.7 million goal and would welcome your generous support.
As of last week, $1.5 million had been raised. The university’s share of that amount was just less than $495,000. UW Hospital and Clinics reported donations of just more than $51,000.
University donors number 1,654 out of 14,201 employees. At UW Hospital and Clinics, 265 employees out of 5,132 contributed to the campaign as of last week.
For contributions through payroll deduction, pledge forms should be turned in by Friday, Dec. 12, to ensure deductions begin with the first paycheck in January.
A donation also can be made by cash or check. Contact your campaign coordinator to find out where to send it.
To find out who your campaign coordinator is, visit http://www.secc.wisc.edu/general_chairs.htm and look up the chairperson for your school, college or division.
The campaign will continue to accept contributions through Friday, Jan. 30.
