Wisconsin Week unveils a new look

This issue of Wisconsin Week is the first with a new design and organization.

During the summer, University Communications staff reworked the paper, choosing new fonts, refining the story organization and implementing new features. Readers will find expanded faculty and staff news coverage on Pages 4 and 5, as well as in-depth science and research stories on Pages 6 and 7. You’ll find more stories about the arts and other campus events on Pages 8 and 9, which also will include a new feature by Barbara Wolff called “Writer’s Choice.” Wolff will scour the university events calendar before each issue to find the events she recommends.

In addition to these changes, the calendar listings have been reorganized to make it easier for readers to find events they’re interested in attending.

Wisconsin Week will continue to provide campus news and photography, as well as university policies, notices of faculty and staff awards, and grant and fellowship deadlines. E-mail wisweek@news.wisc.edu with comments about the changes.
