Wisconsin Singers: 35 entertaining years
The Wisconsin Singers, the nation’s premier collegiate song- and-dance group, will perform 35th Anniversary On Campus shows at the Wisconsin Union Theater at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and Saturday, Nov. 9. Comprised of 28 UW–Madison singers, dancers and instrumentalists, the group performs for more than 50,000 people each year. The anniversary shows will feature area high school show and jazz choirs, as well as alumni, including Metropolitan Opera singer Kit Reuter-Foss and Sara Solie, who recently performed in Broadway’s “Beauty and the Beast” and “Titanic.” Tickets are $14 ($16 at the door), $8 for student/seniors ($10 at the door), and available through the Wisconsin Union Box Office, 262-2201.
