WISCAPE explores leadership practices

The Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education continues its mission of exploring decision-making and leadership practices within postsecondary education by offering programs that confront key challenges. Upcoming spring events include:

  • “Moving from Fiscal Constraint to New State-University Partnerships,” a public forum featuring nationally recognized speakers David Breneman and Terrance J. MacTaggart. Wednesday, Feb. 26, noon-1:30 p.m., Tripp Commons, Memorial Union.
  • “State Strategies for Promoting Access and Retention in Postsecondary Education,” WISCAPE’s second conference on access and retention. Featured speakers David Conley and Gordon Davies will discuss the need for coordination among state governments, public and private sector groups, and PK-16 educational systems. Public lecture: Wednesday, March 26, 2-4 p.m., 259 Educational Sciences Building. Brown-bag forum with Conley on portfolio admissions: Thursday, March 27, noon-1 p.m., 405 Education Building.
