‘Webinar’ Session looks at campus plan

November 4, 2003

A national live Web seminar — a webinar — will feature UW–Madison’s approach to campus planning on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1:30-3:10 p.m.

Called “Strategic Planning: Off the Shelf and Into Action,” it focuses on implementation and infusion of the campus plan. Darrell Bazzell, vice chancellor for administration will discuss tying the budget to the plan.

The live-video session will highlight model-plan implementation practices from higher education institutions in Alabama, Minnesota and Tennessee. David Ward, president of the American Council on Education and former UW–Madison chancellor, will keynote the session. Participants will be able to ask questions.

Two locations, 220 Ingraham and 3070 Grainger, will be set up for people to participate for free. Individuals can participate from their desk computers for $149. Register for either option at http://www.ohrd.wisc.edu/special/splanning.htm.

The webinar is sponsored by the American Council on Education, National Association of College and University Business Officers, and the National Consortium for Continuous Improvement.
