WALSAA Hosts Football Fire-Up And Auction

The 22nd annual Wisconsin Agricultural & Life Sciences Alumni Association Football Fire-up and Auction will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, before the Wisconsin/Boise State football game.

The Fire-up will feature a live band. Lunch will include cheese, popcorn, beer, brats, potatoes, steak sandwiches, milk, sweet corn and apples, and a guarantee that nobody leaves hungry. The auction is the biggest fund-raiser of the year for the WALSAA scholarship fund.

The Fire-up will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (food will be served until 12:15 p.m.) at the UW Stock Pavilion. NOTE: If the game is televised, the event will begin 3 hours before kickoff.

The cost is $12 per person for WALSAA members and guests; $14 for non-members. Reservations received after Aug. 27 and walk-ins will be $20 per person. A limited number of game tickets are available at $12 each on a first-come, first-serve basis. Make checks payable to WALSAA and mail to WALSAA, 105 Agriculture Hall, 1450 Linden Drive, Madison, WI 53706. Parking is available in Lots 32, 34 and 62 at $7 per car.
