UW-Madison Ranked 39th Most ‘Wired’ School

UW–Madison has been named one of America’s 100 Most Wired Colleges by Yahoo! Internet Life magazine, finishing No. 39.

The magazine conducted the first-ever survey to determine which of the nation’s colleges and universities provide the best access and exposure to the Internet. Using the criteria of student services, hardware and wiring, and academic and recreational use of the Internet, the magazine surveyed academic computing departments, information technology offices and students at 300 schools.
