Transportation workshop explores security improvements, priorities
How to prioritize security threats and vulnerabilities, and how to invest limited security improvement resources wisely is the subject of a workshop on transportation security at the Engineering Centers Building on Thursday, May 20.
The workshop, “Optimizing Resource Allocation for Transportation Infrastructure Security,” is sponsored by the UW–Madison Center for Human Performance and Risk Analysis, the Midwest Regional University Transportation Center, and the Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events, which is the first national center of excellence funded by the Department of Homeland Security, and is based at the University of Southern California.
Attendees will be able to interact with nationally known experts on transportation security.
