Terrace: The best of Madison

The Memorial Union Terrace was named “Best Live Music Venue” and “Best Cheap Thrill”in the annual “Best of Madison” listings compiled from reader responses to a Madison Magazine survey.

“This not only reflects well on the students and staff who plan the music events, the event managers and building services people who keep things humming and the food service staff who keep visitors happy,” says Wisconsin Union Director Ted Crabb, “it also reflects well on everyone associated with the Wisconsin Union.

“There are a lot of dedicated people behind the scenes who help make coming to the Union a pleasurable experience for students, faculty, staff and Union members.

“It’s nice to know they consider the Memorial Union an accessible and enjoyable venue, whether it’s for music, films, Hoofer activities, , Mini Courses or just a nice place to grab a bite and hang out by the lake,” Crabb says.
