Teaching grants awarded
Proposals to enhance peer mentoring and make possible a field trip to a major concert hall have been awarded 2002-03 Teaching Enhancement Grants at the university. The grants are administered by Creating a Collaborative Academic Environment. Winners are for the coming year are:
- Peer mentoring for professional development: Jo Ann Carr, School of Education Center for Instructional Materials and Computing; and Steve Head, School of Education Educational Placement and Career Services.
- Field trip for up to 20 undergraduate piano students in the School of Music to attend a solo recital at Chicago’s Orchestra Hall: Todd Welbourne, School of Music.
