Teaching and learning technology symposium scheduled

A new symposium called ‘Teaching and Learning with Technology: Progress and Prospects‘ is scheduled May 27-28 at Grainger Hall.

UW–Madison faculty and staff will share their experiences with using technology to enhance teaching and learning. Hands-on workshops will help attendees explore what technology can or cannot do. Featured speakers will include Chancellor David Ward, Provost John Wiley, and Ed Neal, director of faculty development at the Center for Teaching and Learning, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The symposium, similar to one held two years ago, will consider recent advances and look ahead to what’s coming next in this burgeoning field. For those who want to use instructional technology, this symposium can help you make better-informed decisions. For more details, see the symposium website.
