Payroll schedule and benefits deductions changes coming in 2021
Beginning in April, employees who are currently paid biweekly will have most deductions for benefits split evenly over the first two biweekly paychecks each month. Beginning in July, employees who are paid monthly will be moved to a biweekly pay schedule.

With the winter months upon us, UW–Madison’s Office of Human Resources reminds employees working on campus of inclement weather guidelines. During the pandemic, these guidelines apply to those who are working on-site, not to those working remotely.
Flexibility advised to accommodate voting plans
Supervisors should provide flexibility to UW–Madison employees who plan to vote in-person on Election Day, Nov. 3. Employees should reach out to their supervisor to ensure their voting plan can be accommodated.
October survey seeks employee input in spring plans
The survey asks how the university can support faculty and staff, whether they are already working on-site or will be at some future time. The survey also requests input on improvements in the campus response to COVID-19.
