TAA will not withhold grades
The Teaching Assistants’ Association announced on Sunday, May 2, that its membership would not withhold grades from UW–Madison students.
In support of its ongoing contract negotiations with the State of Wisconsin’s Office of State Employment Relations, the TAA staged a two-day walkout Tuesday and Wednesday, April 27-28. The group had also considered holding an end-of-semester grade strike.
TAs, faculty and staff are required to reschedule any classes missed or cancelled, or assign equivalent work, before the end of classes later this week.
Another bargaining session between the TAA and OSER is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4.
