Student receives Wisnewski Prize

Katie Rolnick, a junior majoring in theater and drama, has been awarded the first Ruth Knatz Gross Wisnewski Memorial Prize by the Integrated Liberal Studies Department.

After Ruth Wisnewski’s death last year, her husband and children established a memorial fund to be administered by the University of Wisconsin Foundation. The $100,000 fund provides a $5,000 cash award each year to an undergraduate student who demonstrates ability and promise of further progress in the application of critical thinking in the humanities.
