Speakeasy Science: Space Place tees up science for grown-ups
Line up your baby sitter for the evening of Friday, March 8, and lift off for a night of fun and science at UW–Madison’s Space Place for the first edition of Speakeasy Science.
The adults-only event will feature edible comets, the smell of space, laser penmanship, an astronomical tattoo parlor and other activities designed exclusively for the 21 and older crowd.
Speakeasy Science will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Space Place, 2300 S. Park St. in the Villager Mall. Tickets are $10, include one free drink and can be purchased at the door or in advance through the Space Place website. A limited number of tickets are available and will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
