Smorgasbord of yoga styles offered
Those wanting to explore the many styles of yoga, and learn more about its physical and emotional benefits can do so late at night.
Late Night Yoga can help you relieve stress and focus your energy. The 15-week informal drop-in course offers different yoga styles, including Anusara (inner and outer body alignment with a strong spiritual component), Ashtanga (a serious workout), Iyengar (noted for precise and detailed body alignments), Kundalini (controlled energy release) and Tantra (toward creative channels and enlightenment).
Classes are held 10 p.m. Thursdays at the SERF. They meet Dec. 11 and 18, but not during winter and spring breaks. The series, free for students, faculty and staff with paid recreation sports fees, concludes March 25. Information: Lori Devine, 262-4268, devine@education.wisc.edu.
