Shuttle From Camp Randall, Special Lots Are Best Parking Bets
In order to reduce traffic and parking problems as you head to tonight’s UW women’s basketball game at the Kohl Center, consider taking the Madison Metro Bucky Bus from Camp Randall. Park free in lots 17, 18 or 19 and pay $1 for a round-trip ride to the Kohl Center. Buses will pick up fans at the Memorial Shell (Lots 18 and 19) and at the McClain Center (Lot 17). Drop-off and pick-up at the Kohl Center will be in front of the arena on West Dayton Street. The shuttle will run every 12 to 15 minutes until game time, and for an hour after the game.
The shuttle will run for all men’s and women’s basketball games.
Other tips to remember:
- Don’t arrive too early. The doors to the Kohl Center don’t open until 6 p.m., one hour from tip-off.
- Make an effort to carpool.
- Take a regular Madison Metro bus
- Avoid parking in the Lake Street Ramp
- Avoid the Johnson-Dayton Street area by parking in pay-on-entry lots south of the Kohl Center along Regent Street. Those include:
