Showcase registration
There is still time to register for Showcase 2006, scheduled for 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday, April 3, in the Memorial Union.
The free annual event offers opportunities for learning and sharing ideas that can make work more efficient and enjoyable.
Chancellor John Wiley will deliverthe opening remarks at approximately 8:30 a.m. in Great Hall. Patrick Farrell, who begins his new role as provost on April 3, will kick off the plenary session at 10:45 a.m. in Tripp Commons.
“UW-Madison as a Model of Higher Education: Facing the Current Challenges in Higher Education” will be the topic of a roundtable presentation by Don Beck, founding partner of the National Values Center. It will take place from 12:30-1:15 p.m. in Tripp Commons.
Showcase sessions cover topics such as e-newsletters, maximizing the productivity of student workers, and restructuring administrative functions in academic departments.
