Second annual stem cell symposium to focus on heart tissue, blood diseases

Several of the world’s leading experts on the formation of blood and heart cells from stem cells, and clinical applications of stem cells in blood and heart diseases, will come together on Wednesday, April 18, for the second annual Wisconsin Stem Cell Symposium.

Coordinated by the University of Wisconsin–Madison/NIH Stem Cell Training Program, the UW Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center and the BioPharmaceutical Technology Center Institute (BCTI), the conference’s confirmed keynote speakers include:

The Wisconsin Stem Cell Symposium will be held at Promega Corporation’s BioPharmaceutical Technology Center (BTC) at 5445 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg. The center is also home to the BTCI, the educational nonprofit that Promega supports.
