SECC kicks off with reception Thursday

A campus reception Thursday, Oct. 14, kicks off the fall charity fund-raising campaign by state and university employees.

The State, UW and UWHC Employees Combined Campaign of Dane County will host a kick-off reception from 4-6 p.m. in Great Hall of the Memorial Union.

Campus employees can enjoy some finger food, meet campaign volunteers and representatives of participating umbrella groups, and learn more about this once-a-year charity fund-raising campaign, now in its 26th year.

Find out how your gift can make a difference in the lives of others. The 1999 SECC will run through Nov. 30. This year’s theme is “Partners In Giving.”
