Roundtable lunch lineup set
The spring Roundtable luncheon series will feature a range of topics, including remarks from the new director of the Wisconsin Union.
The roundtable series, open to the public, begins Thursday, Feb. 7, with “The Wisconsin Union: Reflecting, Unifying and Enhancing the Campus,” an address by Mark Guthier, newly appointed director of the Wisconsin Union.
Carl Gulbrandsen, director of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, will discuss stem cell research Friday, March 8. And the series will wrap up Thursday, April 11, with UW System President Katharine Lyall and her views on the university’s role in the state’s economy.
The buffet-style lunches are 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m., Tripp Commons, Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St. Each lunch costs $8.50 and reservations must be received by 4 p.m. the week before each presentation. Tickets to all three lunches can be purchased in advance for $24. Reservations should be sent to Colleen McCabe, 270 Bascom Hall, 500 Lincoln Drive, Madison, WI 53706.
