Resources for movers

August 12, 2002

Students are encouraged to donate their extra food, clothes and household items to local agencies that serve families in need, and learn how to properly discard and recycle their trash.

A campus coalition has distributed moving kits (with donation and disposal information) to downtown/campus neighborhoods, set up donation sites throughout these neighborhoods, and placed donation bins in the The Embassy, a high-rise apartment building.

Specific information on donations, trash disposal, and recycling can be found at The Morgridge Center for Public Service.
