Residence halls students receive awards
The William B. Sweet Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary has awarded $11,500 to UW–Madison students in recognition of their service to residence hall communities.
These scholarships were awarded in the areas of diversity, academics, involvement and overall service to the Residence Halls.
The following students were awarded a $500 scholarship for their outstanding contributions to the residence halls based upon their year in college:
— First Year Experience: Erica Kiser (Witte Hall), Rachel Phelps (Chadbourne Residential College).
— Sophomore Excellence: Carrie Benedon (Elizabeth Waters), Stefanie Olson (Chadbourne Residential College).
— Junior Excellence: Adam Goodberg (Sellery Hall), Wendy Riemann (Adams Hall).
— Senior Excellence: Adam Briggs (Chadbourne Residential College), Ryan Tobiasz (Chadbourne Residential College).
The following students were awarded a $250 scholarship for their outstanding contributions to their Residence Hall community in the areas of overall service, academics, diversity and involvement:
— Cole, Bradley Learning Community, Sullivan Halls: Sara Beuth, Jessica Shim, Kari Shafer, Ainsley Rowe, Daniel Zhu.
— Chadbourne Residential College: Andy Underwood-Bultmann, Stefanie Olson, Ellen Mary Hickmann, David Brunow, Aileen Hentz.
— Elizabeth Waters Hall: Kelly Imig, Lisa Hoffmann, Carrie Benedon.
— Ogg Hall: Margaret Honrath
