Report highlights strategic-plan progress
A report highlighting accomplishments during the first year of “For Wisconsin and the World,” a five-year strategic framework for the campus, is now available online.
Chancellor Biddy Martin and Provost Paul DeLuca say that the campus community has made significant progress in addressing the framework’s priorities:
- the undergraduate experience
- the Wisconsin Idea
- scholarly domains
- retention and recruitment, and diversity
- stewardship of resources
Examples included in the report represent efforts within schools and colleges, as well as cross-campus initiatives. Martin and DeLuca note “steadfast commitment” and “creative solutions” to the framework, which is designed to focus the university’s work for 2009–2014.
