Reggie Torian Featured in Sports Illustrated

Senior Reggie Torian, who set a collegiate and school record in the 60-meter hurdles, won two events at the Big Ten indoor meet, and most recently won the 60-meter hurdles final at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships, has been recognized by Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” section.

The issue, dated March 17, highlights Torian’s record-breaking performance at the Cannon IV Classic in Indianapolis where he ran a 7.47 and broke Rod Woodson’s collegiate 60-meter hurdle mark indoors. Torian joins running back Ron Dayne as the only UW men’s athletes to be featured in the section in the last year.

Torian and the rest of the Badger squad return to outdoor action March 21-22 at the Florida State Relays in Tallahasse, Fla.
