Approximately 100 students from Middleton High School took part in group discussions on Oct. 19, 2011, at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery.
UW-Madison students currently enrolled in English 100 courses lead the discussions about “Enrique’s Journey,” this year’s Go Big Read book selection. Now in its third year, Go Big Read is a common-reading program at UW–Madison that is designed to engage students, faculty, staff and the community in a shared, academically focused reading experience. The author of “Enrique’s Journey,” Sonia Nazario, will be on campus for a public presentation Oct. 27, 2011.
