Spring renewal
The top of an eagle staff frames a moving line of Native American students and members from several tribal communities in a “Snake Dance” during the spring powwow at the Nicholas-Johnson Pavilion in the Kohl Center. Sponsored by the student organization Wunk Sheek, the powwow is the Native American people’s way of meeting, dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships and making new ones.
