Winter, take your leave
Tiny fingers of frozen water droop from the dead leaves of a tree branch on campus, taunting us with the probability of hanging around for another six weeks of winter. Icicles thrive in the late winter season, as they usually spring from the drip cycle of snow melting during the day, then freezing again at night. (Photo: Jeff Miller)
