Psychology department honored for graduate education
The Department of Psychology was selected as a co-recipient of the 2004 Award for Innovation in Graduate Education in Psychology.
The award was sponsored by the American Psychological Association‘s Board of Educational Affairs and the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology.
Twenty-one departments applied for the award, and there were five semifinalists. UW–Madison’s department was cited for “the development by your department of a program designed to foster excellence in research, especially cross-disciplinary, integrative research among graduate students.”
The department received $2,500.
