Provost candidates to make presentations
The three candidates for provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs will each make presentations in coming days on the challenges and opportunities that confront UW–Madison.
The 15-minute presentations designed for faculty and staff, to be followed by questions and answers, will be held in Room B-10 of Ingraham Hall at 2:15 p.m. on the following days:
- Wednesday, May 27: Irwin L. Goldman, vice dean and associate dean for research in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UW–Madison.
- Thursday, May 28: Paul M. DeLuca Jr., vice dean and associate dean for research and graduate studies at the UW–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health.
— Monday, June 1: Richard L. Moss, chair of the Department of Physiology in the UW–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health.
The presentations are part of an interview process that will be completed by early June and will involve the chancellor, a number of top campus administrators, representatives of shared governance groups, and officials representing campus partners such as the Wisconsin Alumni Association, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation and the UW Foundation.
