New feature on Student Record tab

April 12, 2005

In the last survey of students using My UW–Madison, the top priority for improving student access to their record was to provide a complete listing of all the courses that have been taken on the UW–Madison campus. This list is now available to students on the portal. The Student Record Tab in the Academic Record module has a new pick entitled “My UW–Madison Courses and Grades.” It does not include transfer work taken at other universities, nor does it include any credit that may have been received via various tests or other means. In order to receive your full record, you will need to request that your record be emailed to you using the “Request Student Record” pick.

Here are some of the features of the list:

  • It lists all courses, past, present, and future for which you have enrolled.
  • It includes term and cumulative statistics for each term.
  • It includes attributes of the course which are valuable to undergraduates. For further explanation, click the link “Explanation of geBLC” within the module.
  • It lists the school/college in which you are/were enrolled for each term.

If you have questions or comments, send them via the Feedback link in the portal.
