MU Bash welcomes new students to Wisconsin Union

New students can get a crash course on what’s offered by the Wisconsin Union at the Memorial Union Bash Sunday, Sept. 1, from 9 p.m.-2 a.m., Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St.

Free events range live music and film, to sailing and karaoke will be available throughout the building and on the Union Terrace. Free snacks and beverages will be offered all night long.

The event is alcohol-free. Beer will not be sold in the Rathskeller or Games Room after 8 p.m.

Union South, 227 N. Randall Ave., will maintain its routine operating schedule. The BASH is sponsored by the Wisconsin Union, Wisconsin Union Directorate and Associated Students of Madison.

The schedule includes swing dancing in Great Hall, ComedySportz in Union Theater, Polaroids with Bucky Badger, climbing wall on Alumni Pier, moonlight sailing, craftshop, Porter Butts Art Gallery, African storytelling in March Play Circle, karaoke and more.
