Badger volleyball team in final four
Wisconsin defeated Nebraska 25-18, 25-22, 25-19 to advance to the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship Semifinal against No. 1 Baylor in Pittsburgh next Thursday. It was No. 4 UW's third sweep of the No. 5 Huskers this season. This will be the Badgers' third national semifinal in team history.
Clinical trial for Ebola vaccine developed at UW–Madison underway in Japan
Fifteen healthy young men will receive two doses of the experimental vaccine. If the first group tolerates it, an additional group of up to 20 volunteers will receive a higher dose of the vaccine.

Badgers are Rose Bowl-bound
For the 10th time in school history and the fourth time in this decade, the Wisconsin Badgers are playing in the Rose Bowl Game. The Badgers will face No. 6 Oregon, the 2019 Pac-12 champions. The game will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 4 p.m. (CT) and be televised by ESPN.

The No. 4 Wisconsin volleyball team rolled into the Sweet 16 of the 2019 NCAA Tournament with a straight-set win over UCLA on Saturday night during the second round of Division 1 championship play at the UW Field House. The Badgers move on to face No. 13 Texas A&M. UPDATE: UW defeated Texas A&M Friday to advance to the Elite Eight.
