Ideas sought on master plan for utilities

April 19, 2005

A public session aimed at soliciting ideas for the utility portion of the university’s campus master plan will be held Wednesday, April 20 from 7-9 p.m. at the Red Gym, 716 Langdon St.

The utilities portion of the planning process is important as the campus maps its future development and identifies the best ways to provide chilled water, heat and electricity to the campus.

The campus master plan will examine existing and proposed buildings, outdoor spaces, transportation and utilities to create a blueprint for future improvements. The overall plan will provide a long-term view of how the campus can become more livable, workable and sustainable.
