Homecoming celebrates ‘Badger Power’

October 10, 2002 By

It’s back to the 1960s and ’70s for this year’s Homecoming celebration Oct. 11-19. The theme, “Badger Power,” is illustrated with a logo featuring flowers, guitars and peace symbols reminiscent of the era.

“This year’s theme not only connotes the ’60s and ’70s, but it also demonstrates the power of UW–Madison in academics and athletics,” says the event’s co-chair Marci Van Adestine.
