GLBT council to honor distinguished alumni

The GLBT Alumni Council of the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) will honor two distinguished alumni at its annual brunch on Sunday, July 20, from 10 a.m.-noon at the Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St. The public is invited to attend.

This year’s celebration will recognize the achievements of Madison attorney Sandra Holtzman, whose landmark case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court improved the lives of countless adopted children, and Milwaukee businessman Ed Hashek, whose community activism in social justice, health care and the arts is unparalleled.
