Funeral planned for student

A visitation and funeral will be held this week for university student Kevin Wojcinski, who died Dec. 22.

Visitation is planned 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee. A funeral mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Veronica Church in Milwaukee.

The body of Wojcinski, a 1998 graduate of Thomas More High School in Milwaukee, was found Friday on the lowel-level rooftop of Ogg Hall. He had injuries that appear consistent with a fall, campus police report.

A death notice placed in a Milwaukee newspaper did not provide memorial information, but asked: “In Kevin’s memory please love, support and communicate with your children and parents.”

Student services personnel at University Housing and the Dean of Students offices have offered services to Ogg residents and other university community members.
