Forestry Club to hold holiday tree sale Dec. 3-5
The Forestry Club will hold its 27th annual holiday tree sale Dec. 3-5 at the Stock Pavilion, 1675 Linden Drive.
Sale hours are Friday, Dec. 3, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 4, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sunday Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Prices are $25 for white pine trees, $35 for balsam firs, and $45 for Fraser firs. Wreaths will cost $18.
The Forestry Club is a student organization comprised of undergraduates enrolled in the College of Agricultural and Life Science‘s School of Natural Resources Forest Science and Recreation Resources Management degree programs. It is a student chapter of the Society of American Foresters.
Proceeds from the group’s annual sale help to fund summer field skills programs for the students and a spring break work/learn experience at the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in Kentucky and Tennessee.
