Kemper K. Knapp Bequest Committee Call for Proposals
The Kemper K. Knapp Bequest Committee is soliciting proposals for special projects taking place in the 2003-04 academic year. The deadline for applications is Monday, Oct. 21. Appointment, Payroll and Benefits System-Lawson Project
APBS-Lawson is the UW System Appointment, Payroll and Benefits System that will be implemented Jan. 1, 2005. Lawson Software of St. Paul, Minn., is providing the human resources information management system that the APBS-Lawson Project Team will implement.

APBS will handle information about human resources management, positions, payroll, fringe benefit enrollment, leave balances, tenure tracking, affirmative action, equal opportunity data collection, employment records and history, emergency contacts, W4 information, automatic deposits, charitable deductions, and payments for goods and services.

Looking for Scrabble Experts to Participate in Research
Researchers in the Language and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory in the Department of Psychology are seeking to recruit expert, tournament-level Scrabble players for studies of reading and spelling, and their brain bases.
