Engineering Expo to be held April 14-16
Thousands of local students will descend on the University of Wisconsin–Madison College of Engineering campus this week for an up-close look at more than 60 interactive exhibits and competitions.
Engineering Expo is a biennial event run entirely by UW–Madison undergraduate students and is open to the public and media. Mechanical engineering student and Expo coordinator David Engeldiner is available to assist media. Contact him at dengeldinger@wisc.edu, 751-923-5558.
“The exhibits will display work by students happening on campus right now, and visitors can get close to the vehicle teams, industry displays and interactive booths,” Engeldinger says. “It’s a chance for younger students to talk to college students and see if they’re interested in engineering.”
Engineering Expo runs April 14-16 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $4 for K-12 students $6 for adults.
