Daily Dose Deli opening

The Wisconsin Union is opening a new deli, the “Daily Dose,” in the Health Science Learning Center, on the west end of campus near UW Hospital. The Grand Opening continues through Friday, Sept. 24, with hours from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.

Grand opening specials include:

• Wednesday, Sept. 22: “Mid-Week Remedy,” free coffee and door prizes.
• Thursday, Sept. 23: “Immunization Day,” a free flavor shot with purchase of coffee drink.
• Friday, Sept. 24: “Weekend Prescription,” a free bar or cookie with purchase of specialty coffee drink.

Also, patrons can enter a drawing to win prizes including DVD-VCR combos, a Wiscard deposit, Union Theater tickets and a Mini Course gift certificate.

The other six Union delis — Daily Scoop in Memorial Union, Quick Byte in Union South, ICU in the Medical Sciences Center, the Ingraham Deli, the Feed Bag in the Veterinary Medicine Building and the Open Book Cafe in Helen C. White library — will also be running a special all week to celebrate the new deli: Buy any sandwich and get a free 12-ounce soda or coffee.
