Committee to help identify, select next University Librarian
Revised: Sept. 4, 2012 to update the list of members and names of the staff to the committee.
A search and screen committee has been appointed to assist the administration in the identification and selection of candidates for the next University Librarian of the General Library System at UW–Madison.
William Aylward, professor of classics, is chairing the search and screen committee.
Other appointees to the committee include:

- Kristin Eschenfelder, professor of library and information studies
- Cynthia Jasper, professor of consumer science
- Jon McKenzie, associate professor of English
- Nola Walker, senior academic librarian, General Library
- Alex Champion, graduate student
- Ivy Corfis, professor of Spanish and Portuguese
- Jeffrey Gayton, building/grounds supervisor, Memorial Library
- Robert Glenn Howard, professor of communication arts
- Linda Jorn, director of DoIT Academic Technologies
- Christine Pawley, director of the School of Library and Information Studies
- Jean Phillips, senior special librarian, Graduate School
- John Pfotenhauer, professor of mechanical engineering
- Julie Schneider, director of the Health Science Library
- Sue Zaeske, associate dean of the College of Letters and Science and professor of communication arts
Interim Secretary of the Academic Staff Jo Ann Carr and search and screen coordinator Michelle Bass are serving as staff to the committee.
