Center releases guide to children’s literature

The new edition of “CCBC Choices 2002” describes 193 books for children and young adults published in 2001 that have been recommended by the staff of the School of Education’s Cooperative Children’s Book Center.

Staff members estimate that at least 5,000 new books for children and young adults were published last year. With so many options, “Choices” is a valuable tool for finding the best.

To obtain a copy, Wisconsin residents should send $2.25 and out-of-state residents should send $7 to Friends of the CCBC, Inc., P.O. Box 5288, Madison, WI 53705. All orders should indicate you are requesting a copy of “CCBC Choices 2002.”
