Festival features Asian artists
The first Asian Contemporary Arts Festival at UW–Madison will offer audiences direct contact with contemporary artists from Korea, Indonesia and Cambodia throughout this semester.
Music faculty begins spring season

International Institute, Borders Books partner on book series
Beginning this month, the International Institute and Borders Books will partner on an international book series, entitled "The World Beyond Our Borders." The six-month series will feature UW–Madison faculty discussing their recent books on a variety of international subjects.

All-university string orchestras give premieres

Fall faculty dance concert ‘bound’ to please
New York choreographer Heidi Latsky freely admits to being fearful ever since Sept. 11. To allay those fears, she did what she does best - she made a dance. Bound, the group work she created to help transform fear into positive energy, will be showcased in the UW Fall Faculty Dance Concert Nov. 21-23. Film festival features Brazil
Brazilian cinema will be spotlighted along with films from Mexico, the Dominican Republic and the United States during CineFest Nuestra America: "Viva o Brasil," which runs Thursday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 17.
