Brad Soderberg bio

Brad Soderberg, now in his sixth season with the Wisconsin men’s basketball coaching staff, has been named acting head men’s basketball coach.

• Served as assistant coach at Wisconsin from 1995-96 through 1999-2000 and was named assistant head coach earlier this fall
• Head coach, South Dakota State, 1993-95 (36-18 record)
• Head coach, Loras College, 1988-93 (79-45 record)
• Assistant coach, Loras College, 1987-88
• Assistant coach, Fort Hays State, 1986-87
• Grad. assistant coach, Colorado State, 1985-86
• Assistant coach, UW-Stevens Point, 1984-85
• Played two seasons at Ripon College (1980-82) and two at UW-Stevens Point (1982-84)
• Teamed in backcourt with current NBA veteran Terry Porter at UW-Stevens Point under Coach Dick Bennett
