Ask Bucky
Actual questions from real people, answered by the friendly folks at the Campus Information and Visitor Center.
Q: Has the university ever closed because of snow or cold temperatures?
A: Yes, but it’s happened only twice in the past 30 years. Professors may decide to cancel their classes because of poor weather conditions, but it is very rare for the entire university to close.
