Allegro! Music school in double-time

Allegro!

The end of the semester offers musical riches, with 46 concerts and solo recitals during the last two weeks of the semester. Most ensembles and performance classes that meet during the semester give an end-of-the-semester concert, and to walk the lower halls of Humanities is to experience an unending musical medley, with strains of different melodies seeping out from every classroom and rehearsal room. There are about 450 students in the School of Music, including 300 undergrads. “Collage,” a $25 two-CD set including recordings of 20 student musical groups, is available from the School of Music office, 3561 Humanities, 263-1900.
