Student Personnel Association conference scheduled
The 2006 Student Personnel Association Conference will be held on Friday, Feb. 17.
This year’s topic is “The Changing Face of Our Campuses: Recognizing the Past and Preparing for the Future.” The keynote address will be delivered by Indiana University’s Carolyn Calloway-Thomas and is titled “Under Cherry Trees There Are No Strangers: Communicating Interculturally.”

- Changing Face of Graduate Education
- Growth of Latin@ Students Entering Higher Education
- Financial Aid
- ACIREMA: A Cross-Cultural Simulation
- Service-Learning Independent Study
- Federal Legislation
- Bringing a Strategic Plan to Life
- Organizational Culture, Leadership and Social Justice
The event will last from 8:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m. at the Pyle Center. Anyone interested should register by Friday, Feb. 10, at http://www.ohrd.wisc.edu/spa. Registration fees are $41 for SPA members, $56 for nonmembers and $28 for students.
