Q: Is there a UW–Madison yearbook that I can purchase? I would like to purchase one for my friend who is an alum. Can you please give me the contact information for the yearbook staff?

A: UW–Madison does have a yearbook! Aptly titled the Badger Yearbook, it is available for purchase at http://www.badgeryearbook.com. Feel free to contact the Badger Yearbook staff if you have any further questions at 263-6810 or questions@badgeryearbook.com. Also, you may be interested to know that the Wisconsin Alumni Association library at 650 N. Lake St. maintains an archive of Badger Yearbooks from 1903 to the present.

Q: I found a soft-cover cookbook titled “Seasoning Secrets” and subtitled “Herbs and Spices,” published in 1949. It is authored by Carson Gulley, senior head chef of the UW Residence Halls and is autographed by him. Does anyone there have an interest in this cookbook?

A: According to University Archives, Steenbock Library has an extensive collection of old cookbooks and may have an interest in your find. Jim Buckett is responsible for this collection, and he can be contacted at 263-3244 or jbuckett@library.wisc.edu. In addition, University Archives occasionally accepts donations of university-related materials and memorabilia. For more information about donating to the collection, call 262-5629 or e-mail uwarchiv@library.wisc.edu.
