Free firewall software now available

There is a new weapon to add to your computer security arsenal: Symantec Client Firewall. This firewall runs directly on your desktop computer and protects it against attacks by controlling incoming and outgoing network traffic.

The firewall can be downloaded as a part of Symantec Client Security 2.0, which also contains Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. To download, go to Security Software or visit Firewall Article for more information.

Please also be aware that Symantec Client Security 3.0 will be available in the near future. It will include new versions of both the anti-virus and firewall applications, as well as spyware detection and remediation software.
